The 31-year-old defender becomes our second summer signing and joins us after spending eight years at the Webbswood Stadium and making just under 300 appearances.
Campbell started his career through the ranks at national league south side Chippenham and made his debut for them in 2015.
After two seasons with Chippenham, Campbell made the switch to Swindon Supermarine where he became an instant regular starter and was appointed as captain for the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
Campbell is an attacking left-sided defender with an eye for goal having scored 52 goals over the previous eight seasons.
Everyone at Poole Town is looking forward to seeing Campbell in red and white for the upcoming campaign.
Upon signing the contract, Campbell said: “I’m delighted to have signed for Poole Town, it needed to take a great club to lure me away from Swindon Supermarine after spending eight years there and Poole Town is exactly that!”
He added: “After speaking with Joe, Pat and Andy, it was clear what the club’s ambitions are, and they align with mine perfectly.”
“I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone at the club and to play in front of the amazing fanbase this club has, hopefully we can give them a successful season to remember.”
Joint-manager Joe Lea said: “He is someone we have played and coached against; we’ve always been really impressed by him.”
“He’s good on and off the ball and is a left back that loves to join in with attacks, he also gives us the option as a wing back too whilst bringing experience to the backline, it’s certainly a signing we are really excited about.”
