Tyrique Clarke was Steve Tully’s first signing for the 2024/25 campaign, as he signed across the dotted line after spending the previous season at Weymouth.
The name may ring a bell for Poole fans as Clarke played a vital ‘super-sub’ role in our run to the Southern League play-off final in 2018/19 where Poole unfortunately lost 1-0 to Met Police.
Tyrique Clarke made nine sub appearances for Poole in that season at just 17 years old.
The 22-year-old began his career as a youngster at Yeovil Town but did not make an appearance for The Glovers.
After spells at Met Police, Hendon and Welling United; Clarke joined Wingate and Finchley in the Isthmian League where he won the young player of the year award.
Last season, Clarke signed for National League South outfit Weymouth and subsequently went on to Dorchester Town.
Clarke is a quick-footed player who has the skill and work-rate to beat any player on the pitch, he also has an excellent ball-playing ability.
