A dynamic midfielder who was one of many signings made by Steve Tully for the 2024/25 campaign. The 28-year-old joined the Dolphins after an impressive season for Sholing where he racked up three goals and 13 assists. He is a cultured and versatile player who has gained the reputation of being a ‘free-kick specialist’ who has an eye for goal.
Charlie Davis started his career at AFC Bournemouth before moving to Poole as a talented teenager in 2013 and stayed at Tatnam for two years making 26 appearances.
After spells at Dorchester and Weymouth, Davis re-joined Poole to pursue more game time. In this spell, Davis made nine appearances for the Dolphins, scoring four times including a hattrick in the Dorset Senior Cup against Swanage Town & Herston.
However, during the 2018/19 season, Davis left Poole for Gosport Borough and went on to captain the side.
The experienced midfielder joined Salisbury in 2020 where he made 57 appearances over a three-year period which led to him signing for AFC Totton and then Sholing before signing across the dotted line for Poole Town.
