Poole Town were back on the road and were in search of victory after defeat to AFC Totton last weekend.
Tully made two changes to the XI with Jamar smith and Trique Clarke replacing Oakley Hanger and Charlie Davis.
The game kicked off in wet conditions at a lovely old school ground. Poole dominated from the start and had an early chance when Billy Lowes hit the post in the opening 10 minutes.
Poole kept the attacking pressure coming with Toby Holmes making some good runs and Dolphins players getting into good areas.
But despite Poole’s dominance they found themselves a goal down after Harry Thomas gave away a penalty which David Tarpey converted on 22 minutes.
Poole responded around 15 minutes later after Jamar Smith’s cross was volleyed home superbly by Tyrique Clarke.
The Dolphins found themselves in front just before the break as Smith got himself another assist, firing a low ball into Toby Holmes inside the box who tapped the ball past the Marlow keeper to fire Poole into the lead.
The second half commenced with all 5 subs being used by Tully to ensure a hard fought 2-1 away win and a second win of the season for Poole Town.
That moves Poole onto 7 points from 4 games, with a bank holiday Monday derby to look forward to as Wimborne Town visit the BlackGold.
