The winger signed for the Dolphins in February and became an instant fan-favourite at The BlackGold Stadium.
Since signing for the club, Campbell has made 11 appearances and scored on three occasions whilst registering four assists during that time.
Campbell also has the versatility to play a number of different roles including full back, wing back and even as a central striker at times.
Born in Croydon, the 31-year-old started his career at nearby Bromley, initially as a goalkeeper before making the switch to an outfield player at 17 years old.
After short spells at Merstham and Dulwich Hamlet, Campbell re-signed for Bromley when the Ravens were in the National League.
For the start of the 2018/19 season, Campbell joined Eastbourne Borough and made 66 appearances at Priory Lane in a two-year span before signing for Dartford.
Following that, Campbell went on to play for Chatham Town and then Gosport Borough in the Southern Premier Division South before signing for National League South outfit Hampton & Richmond.
This season, he made 29 appearances for the Beavers and scored on three occasions and secured eight assists before signing for Poole in February and having an instant impact and playing a significant role in keeping the club in the Southern League Premier South.
Joint-manager Joe Lea commented on securing Campbell for another campaign, he said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Kris is signing on for another season, the impact he has had since he joined a few months ago is clear for everyone to see.”
Lea added: “He is a top quality player at this level and it shows the ambition of the club that he wants to sign for another season and the belief that he has that we can have a strong year. It also shows that we are an attractive proposition for players to join, so we’re absolutely delighted and look forward to seeing what he can produce.”
Regarding his decision to stay, Kris Campbell said: “I feel great, I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far so I couldn’t be happier to get the deal done.”
He added: “Joe and Pat were massively important in my decision to stay, looking ahead to next season, for me I want to win the league but looking at where we finished the season, playoffs would be a good start.”
