Following extensive discussions on the future direction of the football club, the young exciting management duo join us from Gosport Borough as we embark on a new chapter for Poole Town FC.
Joe and Pat have agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Poole Town, which means they will remain at The BlackGold Stadium until 2027.
Last season, Joe (27) and Pat (26) took a Gosport side that finished 17th in the 2022/23 season and made them into promotion contenders as they ended the campaign in 4th place and lost out in the playoffs to Salisbury.
In the past year, the management duo secured an impressive 52%-win rate, winning 27 games, leading them into the playoffs and experiencing two historic cup runs.
Both Joe and Pat have extensive coaching experiences, having led Gosport’s Academy for a number of years alongside development roles at both Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth.
The management duo began their managerial careers at Petersfield Town as they secured instant success for the Rams, gaining promotion back to the Wessex League Premier Division and also reached the Wessex League Cup Final in 2023.
The first test for the new management duo will be a trip to Bulpit Lane as we face Hungerford Town this Saturday.
