Diaz signed for the Dolphins at the start of last season after spending the previous campaign at Gosport Borough under the management of Joe Lea and Pat Suraci.

The 25-year-old progressed through the ranks at AFC Bournemouth’s academy and was part of a Cherries’ team that won the Youth Alliance Cup in 2017.

After spells at a number of clubs in the local area such as Weymouth, Dorchester Town and Wimborne Town, Diaz signed for Salisbury where he made 77 appearances and scored on nine occasions.

Diaz joined Gosport for the start of the 2023/24 season and played a vital role in their playoff push, making 33 appearances.

Last season, Diaz made 31 appearances including 22 starts before his season was cut short due to injury, but after successful surgery, Diaz is back fit and has signed on for the upcoming season.
