A left sided defender who has the ability to prowess forward at speed whilst being excellent defensively. Jamar Smith signed for the Dolphins for the 2024/25 season from Salisbury where he made 40 appearances and scored one goal.
The 23-year-old played a vital role in Salisbury’s playoff push last season which ended up with him winning a promotion medal.
This wasn’t the first time that ‘Jam’ had experienced promotion in his career as in the previous season, he was a part of a Didcot Town side that defeated Ware in the playoff final to gain promotion to the Southern Premier Division.
In fact, Jamar Smith scored the winning goal that day to secure promotion for Didcot Town in front of a crowd of almost 2000 people.
Smith impressed as a trialist for the Dolphins, especially in the 2-0 win over Worthing in pre-season which led to Steve Tully offering him a contract for the upcoming season.
